Totex Unveils the ACP5-G4 series Traveler’s Plug Set

Have you ever traveled aboard and found the AC plug on your electrical gadgets is not compatible with that particular country’s socket? Solution is at hand; look no further than the latest generation of the Totex traveler’s plug set, ACP5-G4, which can adapt electrical equipments to suit over 160 countries.

The ACP5-G4 is the latest generation of the popular traveler’s plug set line and offers a foldable plastic 3rd pin for the ANZ plug which is used to engage the safety shutter mechanism on the Australian, New Zealand and China sockets. The 3rd pin retracts to permit users to also engage US and Japan sockets, allowing for unsurpassed compatibility.

The ACP5-G4 also incorporates popular features from previous generations, such as half insulated live pin connectors and dependent shutters. The half insulated live pins eliminate live-contact exposure when a plug is partially inserted in a socket. The dependent shutter prevents misuse, and only engages for proper 2 pin insertion. In addition, specially designed screw head prevents unauthorized disassembly which could pose a safety hazard.

The stylish and innovative design is further enhanced by an organizer where company logos can be printed.

Do not be fooled by imitations, only the Totex Traveler’s Plug Set is patented world wide.

Many consumer electronic devices today are charged via a USB port and/or an AC/DC adaptor. Totex Unveils a Revolutionary Product, the Cord Buster (ACP-7)

Many chargers and power adaptors today have a detachable power cord.  These cords often can stretch to over 1.5m.  During use and storage, these cords are cumbersome and are often need to be tied to minimize the space occupied.

Solution that Totex has invented is the Cord Buster.  It contains both a clover leaf (C5) connector and a figure 8 (C7) connector.  It can be used to plug directly into a UL socket found in America, China, Japan, the low current shaver socket in European hotels and many other countries, or used in combination with the Traveller’s Plug set to eliminate the need for the detachable power cords.  The retractable UL pins allows for quick and easy storage when not in use.

Another disadvantage of power cords is the rubber used to produce them may contain PAH (polyaromatic hydrocarbons).  PAHs have been identified as carcinogenic and mutagenic. EU and other regulatory bodies around the world have started to restrict the use in consumer products.  However, consumers are not easily able to identify whether a product does contain PAH or not.  Since the Cord Buster is made of hard plastic material, it does not contain PAH.

The Cord Buster is minimalist yet stylish, it is ideal for travelers.  Your company logo imprint could be very eye catching on it, making it a perfect item for both promotions and sales.
