The lean manufacturing techniques setup in Hong Kong allows for small batch manufacturing which cut down the setup time enabling better response to meet client’s demand and complex behavior pertaining to market changes. The stable and skilled workforce contributed to our quality and flexibility in manufacturing. Our manufacturing flow and assembly process follow our laid out SOP for lithium-ion pack that includes mechanism to mitigate possible battery failure that can occur during storage, assembly, disassembly and disposal.

 

Our unique location outside China enables us to tab on and manage China resources more quickly and efficiently in the upstream activity in our supply chain.

Certain batteries are considered “Dangerous Goods” because of their stored energy and flammability. All lithium-ion battery pack must meet the test criteria set in the UN38.3. Lithium-ion batteries beyond 100Wh is considered “Class 9” Dangerous Goods and must be packed and transported in accordance with UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. Totex is one of the few that can handle more than 100Wh lithium-ion battery configuration in terms of design, assembly, packaging and shipment. Our battery pack comes with technical specification and MSDS to fulfill shipment requirement.
